Connect Fluss+ to Nemtek Wizord 4i Energizer: Remote Electric Fence Control

Connecting Fluss+ to Nemtek Wizord 4i Energizer

This guide explains how to integrate a Fluss+ device with a Nemtek Wizord 4i Energizer using a 12V DC stepper relay (flip-flop relay). This setup allows you to remotely turn the energizer on or off via the Fluss app. Important disclaimer: Electrical installations involving energizers can be dangerous. Ensure all power is disconnected before working on wiring.
Alert
Disclaimer Only qualified electricians or installers should perform this setup. Incorrect wiring may damage equipment, void warranties, or create safety hazards. Consult a professional if unsure.

Requirements

  • A claimed and WiFi-connected Fluss+ device.
  • Nemtek Wizord 4i Energizer (powered off during installation).
  • 12V DC stepper relay (flip-flop type), such as the one available here.
  • Appropriate wiring tools and insulated connectors.
  • Access to the Wizord 4i PCB and keypad power output terminals.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Prepare the Nemtek Wizord 4i Jumper Settings
Adjust the jumper settings on the Nemtek Wizord PCB so that Jumper 1 has a jumper placed on it. Do not place a jumper on Jumper 2, as this will introduce a 4-minute delay for on/off switching.

  2. Power the Fluss+ and Relay from the Wizord Keypad Output
Use the keypad power output terminals on the Wizord 4i PCB to supply 12V DC to both the Fluss+ device and the stepper relay board.

  3. Connect the Fluss+ Trigger to the Relay
Connect the Fluss+ trigger output to the NO (Normally Open) input on the stepper relay. This allows each Fluss trigger to toggle the relay state.
  4. Wire the Relay to the Wizord Switch Input
Connect the Switch Input terminals on the Wizord PCB to the COM and Key SW NO (Normally Open) output terminals of the relay. This setup lets the relay simulate a key switch press to toggle the energizer on/off.

  5. Test the Setup
Reconnect power to the system. Trigger the Fluss+ device via the app (or a shortcut). The relay should flip-flop (toggle) between closed and open states, turning the Nemtek Wizord 4i Energizer on or off accordingly. Verify operation multiple times and ensure no unexpected delays or faults occur.

Additional Tips & Troubleshooting

AlertCritical Safety Warning: Always disconnect all power sources (mains and battery) before handling any wires or components on the energizer or Fluss+. Double-check polarity and connections before powering on.

If the energiser does not toggle correctly:

  • Confirm Jumper 1 is set (no jumper on Jumper 2).
  • Verify the relay is receiving consistent 12V from the keypad output.
  • Check that the Fluss+ trigger output is properly connected to the relay's NO input.
  • Ensure the relay is a true flip-flop/stepper type (not a standard momentary relay).

Test with the Fluss app in a controlled environment before relying on it for security purposes
