How to Transfer a Fluss+ Billing Plan to Another Device (with Users)

How to transfer a Fluss+ billing plan to another device

If you're replacing a Fluss+ device, consolidating onto a single device, or just want to move a paid subscription to a different device on your account, you can transfer the billing plan directly from the Fluss+ app. Optionally, the same transfer can also move every user on the plan across to the new device.

Before you begin

  • You must be the owner (the user with transfer permission) of both the source device and the target device.
  • Both devices must be the same type — a Fluss+ plan transfers to another Fluss+, and a Fluss+ Intercom plan transfers to another Fluss+ Intercom.
  • The source device must be on a paid plan. Free plans can't be transferred (there's nothing to move).
  • The transfer is immediate and can't be easily undone. The source device reverts to the Free plan straight away.

Steps to transfer a billing plan

1. Open Devices from the home screen

Open the Fluss+ app. From the home screen, tap Devices in the bottom navigation to see all the devices on your account.

2. Select the device that has the plan you want to move

Tap the device that currently holds the paid plan. This opens the Device Details page.

3. Tap Transfer Billing Plan

Scroll down to the owner actions section of Device Details and tap Transfer Billing Plan.

Important: If Transfer Billing Plan is not visible, either the device is on the Free plan, you don't own another device of the same type, or you are not the owner. All three are required.

4. Tap Select Device

The transfer panel opens with a short description of what the transfer will do. Tap Select Device to pick the target.

5. Choose the target device

The Transfer To picker lists every other device on your account that you own and that matches the source device's type. Tap the one you want the plan to move to.

6. Decide whether to transfer users with the plan

The Transfer users with plan toggle is on by default. Leave it on to automatically move every user currently on the source device across to the target, with the same access they had before. Turn it off if you only want to move the plan itself — users will stay on the source device.

7. Tap Transfer to [device name]

An orange Transfer to [device name] button appears once a target is selected. Tap it to start the transfer.

8. Confirm the transfer

A confirmation popup appears. Tap Transfer to go ahead, or Cancel to back out.

Once confirmed, a Transfer Successful message appears. If you kept the users toggle on, users are migrated in the background — don't worry if some don't appear on the new device immediately; the servers work through the list after the plan itself has moved.

After transferring

  • The paid plan is now active on the target device. The source device reverts to the Free plan right away.
  • If you chose to transfer users, they keep the same access (same schedule, permissions, and Wi-Fi access) on the target device.
  • If you chose not to transfer users, they remain on the source device. The source device may need a plan that covers them — if it's on Free and the user count is over Free's limit, you won't be able to invite new users until the count comes back under the limit.
  • You can keep moving the plan between devices as often as you need. Each move is a fresh transfer from the current holder.
