Before getting started, make sure you have access to the device you'd like to rename.
From the home screen, tap Devices in the bottom navigation.
Tap the device you want to rename. If you have several devices, the list groups owned devices first, then shared ones, with any expired access faded at the bottom. You can also tap the Owned, Shared, Fluss, or Intercom filter chips above the list to narrow it down.
Once you've selected your device, tap Settings on the Device Details page.
At the top of the Settings page, tap the Rename row to open the Rename Device sheet.
In the Rename Device sheet, edit the Device name field with your new name and tap Done to close the sheet.
Back on the Settings page, tap the blue Save button in the top right corner to commit the new name.
A note on permissions: If you're not the device owner and don't have full access, you can still update the device name, but the change will only be visible on your end. Owners and full access users can rename the device for everyone — any new invites sent after the change will reflect the updated device name.
