Fluss+ Status Output Wire Installation Guide for Motor State Detection

Status output wire installation guide for Fluss+

Welcome to the Fluss+ Sensor Cable wiring guide. Before proceeding with installation, please take note of the following:

NotesImportant Notice: Depending on your motor type, certain Fluss+ firmware versions may produce a flicker effect while the gate is running. This is a known behaviour and does not affect the functionality of your Fluss+ device.

Installation Guide: For a complete installation walkthrough specific to your motor, please visit https://fluss.io/installation.

Understanding Your Fluss+ Wires

Your Fluss+ sensor cable has the following wires:

  • Yellow wire – Status (detects gate open/closed position)

  • Red wire – +6V to 28V DC (power supply)

  • Black wire – GND / COM (ground / common)

  • White wire – TRG (trigger), Button, or NO (to activate the gate)

Wiring Instructions by Motor

The following motors connect directly to the Fluss+ sensor cable — no additional components required.

Centurion D5 EVO

  • Yellow wire (Status) → Status terminal

  • Red wire (+V) → Aux 12V Out terminal

  • Black wire (GND) → Com terminal

  • White wire (Trigger) → Trg terminal

Centurion D5 Smart

  • Yellow wire (Status) → I/O 4 terminal (configured as Status output)

  • Red wire (+V) → +24V Out terminal

  • Black wire (GND) → COM terminal

  • White wire (Trigger) → I/O 1 terminal (configured as Trigger input)

Centurion D10 Smart

The D10 Smart requires an external relay for the trigger because the I/O terminals are not suitable for direct triggering.

  • Yellow wire (Status) → I/O 4 terminal (configured as Status output)

  • Red wire (+V) → +24V Out terminal (also powers the relay coil +)

  • Black wire (GND) → COM terminal (also connects to relay coil −)

  • White wire (Trigger) → Connects via the relay: relay NO to I/O 1, relay COM to COM on the controller

Centurion SECTOR

  • Yellow wire (Status) → Status terminal

  • Red wire (+V) → Aux 12V Out terminal

  • Black wire (GND) → Com terminal

  • White wire (Trigger) → Lck/Stp terminal (or Trigger terminal depending on configuration)

DTS 500 & 600

  • Yellow wire (Status) → Status + terminal

  • Red wire (+V) → Aux +12V Out terminal

  • Black wire (GND) → Status − terminal (GND)

  • White wire (Trigger) → N/O PT (Push-to-trigger) terminal

E.T. Systems DRIVE 500

  • Yellow wire (Status) → STATUS terminal

  • Red wire (+V) → +12V terminal

  • Black wire (GND) → GND terminal

  • White wire (Trigger) → BT (Button) terminal

E.T. Systems ET500 12V

  • Yellow wire (Status) → St+ (Status +) terminal

  • Red wire (+V) → +12V terminal

  • Black wire (GND) → −12V terminal

  • White wire (Trigger) → Bt (Button) terminal

E.T. Systems ET500 ACDC

  • Yellow wire (Status) → St+ (Status +) terminal

  • Red wire (+V) → +12V terminal

  • Black wire (GND) → −12V terminal

  • White wire (Trigger) → Bt (Button) terminal

Motors That Require a Door Contact

Some motors do not provide a status output, so a door contact is required for the Fluss+ to detect the gate’s open/closed state. This applies mostly to garage doors and Gemini motors.

Door Contact:

For the sensor cable wiring on these motors, please refer to the Sensor Installation Instructions for Fluss+.

Centurion SD04

  • Red wire (+V) → 24V terminal

  • Black wire (GND) → COM terminal

  • White wire (Trigger) → NO terminal

  • Yellow wire (Status) → Not connected directly – use a door contact

Centurion SD04 Smart

  • Red wire (+V) → +24V terminal

  • Black wire (GND) → COM terminal

  • White wire (Trigger) → IO1 terminal

  • Yellow wire (Status) → Not connected directly – use a door contact

E.T. Systems DC Blue Digital

  • Red wire (+V) → V+ terminal

  • Black wire (GND) → GND terminal

  • White wire (Trigger) → PUSH terminal

  • Yellow wire (Status) → Not connected directly – use a door contact

E.T. Systems DC Blue Advanced Pico

  • Red wire (+V) → +24V terminal

  • Black wire (GND) → GND terminal

  • White wire (Trigger) → BT (Button) terminal

  • Yellow wire (Status) → Not connected directly – use a door contact

Digidoor DIGI 6

  • Red wire (+V) → +24V terminal

  • Black wire (GND) → GND terminal

  • White wire (Trigger) → PB (Push Button) terminal

  • Yellow wire (Status) → Not connected directly – use a door contact

Sentry SG06

  • Red wire (+V) → +12V terminal

  • Black wire (GND) → COM terminal

  • White wire (Trigger) → TRG terminal

  • Yellow wire (Status) → Not connected directly – use a door contact

Gemini SEL

  • Red wire (+V) → 12V+ terminal

  • Black wire (GND) → COMMON terminal

  • White wire (Trigger) → TRIGGER terminal

  • Yellow wire (Status) → Not connected directly – use a door contact

Next step — Set up the sensor in the Fluss+ App

Your wiring is now complete. The final step is to enable the sensor and select the correct wire type in the Fluss+ App so your gate's open/closed state displays correctly.
