This article explains how to update an existing user's access settings for a device within the Fluss+ app.
To update a user's access, you'll need invite permissions for the device. This is typically available to Owners and Full Access users. To find out more about the different permission levels, see our Access types for Fluss+ article.
From the home screen, tap Devices in the bottom navigation bar.
Tap the device whose user access you'd like to update.
On the Device Details page, tap Users to view all users associated with that device.
Tap the user whose access you wish to update. Their access details slide up in a sheet.
The current access type is shown at the top of the user details sheet (for example, Always, Temporary, Repeat, Tenant, or Full Access). Tap the Change affordance to pick a different type. Each type has its own set of permissions — see Access types for Fluss+ for the full list.
Below the access type, the Allow access via Wi-Fi toggle controls whether the user can trigger the device remotely (when the Fluss+ is online via Wi-Fi). Switch it on or off to suit.
When you're happy with the changes, tap the blue Save button in the top right corner of the sheet.
The access changes apply immediately. The user's next interaction with the device — opening, closing, or re-syncing — uses the new permissions.
