This guide will walk you through setting up Wi-Fi on a Fluss+ device. Once your Fluss+ is on Wi-Fi you can trigger it remotely from anywhere with internet — no Bluetooth range needed.
Before you start, please ensure the following:
The first-time Wi-Fi setup is sent to the device over Bluetooth, so your phone must be near the device with Bluetooth turned on and permissions granted.
See Access types for Fluss+ for what each role can do.
The Fluss+ uses a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection. The network needs to support 2.4 GHz — most home routers do.
Open the Fluss+ app. From the home screen, tap Devices in the bottom navigation.
Tap the device you want to connect to Wi-Fi. This opens the Device Details page.
On the Device Details page, tap the Setup Wi-Fi row near the top.
Note: If Setup Wi-Fi is greyed out with an info icon, your phone isn't connected to the device over Bluetooth. Move closer to the Fluss+, make sure Bluetooth is on, and try again. The Setup Wi-Fi sheet opens and the Fluss+ scans for nearby networks automatically. Each network shows its signal strength as Strong, Good, or Weak alongside a Wi-Fi icon. We recommend choosing a network with Strong signal.
If the list looks empty or the wrong networks appear, tap the refresh icon in the sheet header to scan again.
Tap your network. A new sheet opens with the network's name at the top and a password field below. Type the Wi-Fi password (minimum 8 characters) into the field.
Once a valid password is entered, the Connect button in the top right of the sheet becomes active. Tap it.
A Wi-Fi Connected popup appears with two steps:
When both steps show a green check, your Fluss+ is online.
The Setup Wi-Fi row is greyed out. Your phone isn't connected to the device over Bluetooth. Move closer to the Fluss+, make sure Bluetooth is on, and that the Fluss+ app has the necessary permissions.
No networks show up after scanning. Tap the refresh icon in the sheet header. If still empty, check that your Wi-Fi router is broadcasting on 2.4 GHz and within range of the Fluss+ device.
Connection times out / "Online with Fluss" never completes. Double-check the password you entered. If correct, the Fluss+ may have joined the network but cannot reach the Fluss servers — verify the network has internet access by testing it on another device.
