How to Get a Fluss+ API Key: Generate, Copy & Regenerate Your Developer Key

How to get an API key on Fluss plus

The Fluss+ API key gives you programmatic access to your devices. With it, you can list devices, trigger them remotely, open and close doors (if a sensor is fitted and connected to Wi-Fi), view access logs, and more.

For the best experience, we recommend connecting your Fluss+ to Wi-Fi — this unlocks the full range of API functionality. For more info, visit How to connect the Fluss+ to Wi-Fi.

Before you begin

Steps to get your Fluss+ API key

1. Open Profile

Sign in at app.fluss.io (or open the Fluss+ app) and click Profile in the side navigation.

AlertImportant: Your API key is like a password — treat it as one. Do not share it publicly or include it in places others can see, such as public code repositories or screenshots.

Regenerating your API key

If your key has been exposed, or you simply want a fresh one, you can regenerate it from the same screen. Click Regenerate in the top right corner of the API Key page.

A confirmation dialog appears. Click Regenerate to continue, or Cancel to keep your existing key.

WarningWarning: Regenerating your key immediately revokes the old one. Any integrations still using the old key will stop working until you update them with the new key.

Manage your API plan and usage

API access and usage are managed from the Fluss dashboard. From the API Key page, click the Need to upgrade or view API billing? callout to open dashboard.fluss.io in your browser.
