How to Set Up a Passkey for Fluss+: Face ID, Fingerprint & PIN Sign-In

How to set up a passkey for Fluss+

A passkey lets you sign in to Fluss+ with Face ID, your fingerprint, or your device PIN instead of waiting for a one-time PIN (OTP) by SMS. This guide shows you how to register a passkey from your Fluss+ account.

Before you begin

  • You are signed in to the Fluss+ app. See how to sign in or create an account.
  • Your phone supports biometrics or a screen lock (Face ID, fingerprint, or a device PIN). Fluss+ uses your device's own security to create the passkey.

Steps to set up a passkey

1. Open Passkeys in your account

Tap Profile in the bottom navigation to open your account, then tap Passkeys.

2. Name your passkey (optional)

Under Register a passkey, you can give the passkey a name in the Name this passkey (optional) field — for example, the name of this phone. You can skip this and name it later.

3. Tap Register passkey

Tap Register passkey.

Info: Your device asks you to confirm with Face ID, fingerprint, or your device PIN. This prompt comes from your phone, not from Fluss+, and is how your passkey is created and stored securely on the device.

4. Your passkey is ready

After you confirm, the passkey appears under Your passkeys. A Synced badge means the passkey is backed up to your device account (such as iCloud Keychain or Google Password Manager) and works on your other devices.

After setting up a passkey

  • The next time you sign in, choose Sign in with Passkey instead of requesting an OTP.
  • Return to Passkeys anytime to add another passkey, or to Rename or Remove an existing one.

Troubleshooting

"This device does not support passkeys."

Your device or browser can't create passkeys. You'll see the message "Passkeys aren't available on this device or browser." Update your operating system, or keep signing in with an OTP — a passkey isn't required.

"A passkey is already registered on this device for this account."

You've already set up a passkey on this device. It appears under Your passkeys on the Passkeys screen — there's no need to add another.

"Passkey was cancelled or unavailable on this device."

The Face ID, fingerprint, or PIN prompt was dismissed before it finished. Tap Register passkey again and confirm when your device asks.
