What is the Fluss Intercom?
The Fluss Intercom is a weatherproof QR code board that gets mounted at the entrance of your building or estate. Visitors scan it with their phone camera to reach you — no wiring, no power at the gate, and no app needed on their side.
How it works
When someone arrives at the entrance, they scan the QR code, which opens an intercom page directly in their phone's browser. From there, they select the name of the resident they want to reach. No app download needed on their side — it all happens in the browser.
Once they've selected a resident, the Fluss+ app on the resident's phone will ring with an incoming call. The resident can answer or decline, just like a normal call.
If answered, the resident will be connected to a one-way video call — the resident can see the visitor, but the visitor can't see them. From that same call, the resident can tap to open the gate or door for the visitor remotely, from wherever they are.
Works with the Fluss+ device
When a visitor calls through the intercom, you can let them in by triggering your Fluss+ device directly from the call — all within the app. Learn more in the Fluss+ device article.
