What is the Fluss+ device?

The Fluss+ device is a small piece of hardware that connects to your existing gate motor, boom, or electric door — giving you the ability to open and control it directly from the Fluss+ app on your phone. No need to replace your existing motor or infrastructure; the device simply wires into what you already have.

Two ways to trigger your device

The Fluss+ device supports both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and the difference is simple:

      Wi-Fi

        Triggers your gate or door remotely over the internet.

        You can be at the office, on holiday, or anywhere in the world and still open your gate with the app.

      Bluetooth

        Triggers your gate or door when you're physically within Bluetooth range of the device.

        Great for a quick tap-to-open as you pull up to the entrance.

What can it connect to?

The Fluss+ device is compatible with most gate motors, booms, and electric strikes and supports electrical connection from 3.7V – 28V DC only. For full wiring and setup instructions, refer to the Universal installation guide for Fluss+.


What else can you do from the app?

Once your device is set up, the Fluss+ app lets you:

  • Invite residents, family members, or staff to have access
  • Set schedules for when certain people can open the gate

  • Generate one-time or time-limited codes for visitors, contractors, or delivery drivers

  • View a full access log of who triggered the device and when


API Access

For developers or property platforms looking to integrate access control into their own systems, the Fluss+ device also supports the Fluss API. This allows you to trigger devices, manage users, access log events and much more.

Works with the Fluss Intercom

The Fluss+ device also integrates with the Fluss Intercom system, allowing visitors at the gate to request access and have you let them in remotely — all from within the app. Learn more in the Fluss Intercom article.
