How to Change Your Fluss+ Billing Cycle: Switch Between Monthly and Annual

How to change your Fluss+ billing cycle between monthly and annual

If you want to keep a Fluss+ device on its current plan but switch between Monthly and Annual billing, you can change the cycle directly from the app. Each device has its own plan, so you change the cycle on the specific device you want.

Before you begin

  • You must be the owner of the device (the user with transfer permission). Shared users and tenants cannot change the billing plan.
  • An active paid subscription on the device. You cannot change the billing cycle on a Free plan.
  • A payment card. Required if you are switching from Monthly to Annual and the billing account has no saved payment method, so a prorated difference can be charged.

Steps to change your billing cycle

1. Open Devices from the home screen

Open the Fluss+ app. From the home screen, tap Devices in the bottom navigation to see all the devices on your account.

2. Select the device whose cycle you want to change

Tap the device. This opens the Device Details page.

3. Tap Billing Plan

On the Device Details page, tap Billing Plan.

AlertImportant: If Billing Plan is not visible, you are not the owner of the device. Ask the owner to perform the change.

4. Keep your current plan under Plan Type

Leave the Plan Type set to your current plan. Changing the plan here would switch this into an upgrade or downgrade — see how to upgrade your Fluss+ subscription plan or how to downgrade your Fluss+ subscription plan instead.

5. Change the Billing Cycle

Tap the Billing Cycle row to open the picker, then tap Monthly or Annual to switch to the other cycle. Annual billing is charged upfront and usually works out cheaper per month — the exact price appears in the summary card below.

6. Review the summary

The summary card shows:

  • Your plan (unchanged) and the new billing cycle.
  • The price under the new cycle.
  • A Due now amount if a prorated charge applies (see Step 7).

7. Tap Update

Tap the Update button at the top right. What happens next depends on the direction of the change:

Monthly to Annual

A secure Paystack popup opens for you to pay the prorated Due now amount. If you've paid on this billing account before, Paystack may auto-fill a previously-saved card for you. The popup closes automatically once payment succeeds and your cycle switches to Annual.

Annual to Monthly

A confirmation popup appears titled Annual to monthly warning with the message: "You are converting your current billing cycle from an Annual to a Monthly subscription. Are you sure you want to proceed?" Tap the confirm option to continue. No card payment is taken.

After updating

  • The new billing cycle is active immediately.
  • An invoice is emailed to the address on the billing account you selected.
  • Future renewals follow the new cycle.
