If you no longer need the full user limit or paid features on a Fluss+
device, you can downgrade it to a lower paid tier or back to the Free
plan. Each Fluss+ device has its own plan, so you downgrade on the
specific device you want to change.
Before you begin
- You must be the owner of the device (the user with transfer
permission). Shared users and tenants cannot change the billing plan.
- An understanding of the user limit on each tier. See
Fluss+ subscription plans.
Steps to downgrade your plan
1. Open Devices from the home screen
Open the Fluss+ app. From the home screen, tap Devices in the
bottom navigation to see all the devices on your account.

2. Select the device you want to downgrade
Tap the device whose plan you want to downgrade. This opens the
Device Details page.

3. Tap Billing Plan
On the Device Details page, tap Billing Plan.

Important: If Billing Plan is not visible, you are not the
owner of the device. Ask the owner to perform the downgrade.
4. Pick a lower tier under Plan Type
Open the Plan Type picker and tap the tier you want to move to.
You can pick any tier below your current one, including Free.

For a description of each tier's user limit, see
Fluss+ subscription plans.
5. Choose a Billing Cycle
If you are moving to a lower paid tier, choose Monthly or
Annual under Billing Cycle. If you are moving to Free,
this step is skipped.
6. Review the summary
The summary card shows the tier and cycle you selected. Because a
downgrade costs nothing, the summary shows no Due now line — no
payment will be taken.

7. Tap Downgrade
Tap the Downgrade button at the top right. No card payment is
taken. The app returns to the Device Details page when the change is
applied.

After downgrading
- Your device's new tier is active immediately.
- You will not be charged today. Future invoices will reflect the
lower tier.
- Existing users who were invited under the higher tier keep their
access. However, if you already have more users than the new tier's
limit allows, you will not be able to invite new users until you
revoke enough existing users to fall within the new limit.
