Android - Bluetooth Button keeps spinning and Can't connect

Step 1: Close app, reset Bluetooth, and relaunch

  1. Fully close the app that’s failing to connect.

  2. Turn Bluetooth off, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on again from Settings or the quick panel.

  3. Re-open the app and attempt to connect again.

If the issue persists, proceed to Step 2:

  • Restart your phone completely (power down, wait ~10 seconds, then power back on).
This refreshes Bluetooth services and clears any hung process in the OS.

Why this helps

  • Bluetooth toggle reset acts like a mini restart of the wireless stack, often resolving software hiccups.

  • A full phone reboot flushes out deeper system-level problems or services stuck in limbo.
