Fluss+ Setup Guide

This guide walks you through setting up Fluss+ to control your Fluss device(s) from your smartphone. Fluss+ is the enhanced app that lets you claim, manage, and share access to your smart entrance devices (gates, garages, doors, etc.). Follow these steps to get started quickly. For hardware installation details, refer to the official Fluss guide.

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Install the Fluss Device
Visit the official installation guide at https://fluss.web.app/installation/. It covers important hardware wiring and safety notes. Complete any hardware preparation before proceeding.
  2. Install the Fluss+ App
Download the dedicated Fluss+ app for advanced features like device management, sharing, and full access control. Use this direct link, which redirects to the appropriate app store for your device: https://onelink.to/flussplus. Install and open the app once downloaded.
  3. Create an Account and Log In
Open the Fluss+ app and sign up for a new account (or log in if you already have one). Follow the on-screen prompts to register with your email or phone number and set a secure password. This account links your devices and enables sharing access with others.
  4. Claim Your Fluss Device
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and that the Fluss+ app has permission to use Bluetooth and location services. Bring your phone within range of the installed Fluss device. In the app, look for the option to add or claim a device (often shown as an "Add Device" or "Unclaimed Device" button). Select your device when it appears, follow any prompts, and give it a recognisable name. This pairs the device to your account via Bluetooth.

Visual Walkthrough

Additional Tips & Troubleshooting

Important: Make sure Bluetooth and location services are turned on and permissions are granted to the Fluss+ app. The device must be powered on and within Bluetooth range (~10-30 meters, depending on environment) to be discovered and claimed. Claiming assigns ownership—only the owner can manage sharing and advanced settings.

If the device doesn't appear:

  • Restart Bluetooth on your phone and reopen the app.
  • Ensure the Fluss hardware is correctly wired and powered (check the base Fluss installation guide).
  • Move closer to the device and refresh the "Add Device" section.

Fluss+ may also support Wi-Fi indicators or advanced features once claimed—refer to other tutorials on the official Fluss YouTube channel if needed.

Security & Best Practices

  • Never share your account password; use the app's built-in sharing/invite feature to grant access to others safely.
  • Enable strong authentication (e.g., biometrics if available) on your phone to protect app access.
  • Regularly review connected devices and shared users in the app to maintain control.
  • Keep the Fluss+ app updated for the latest security patches and features.

If you run into any issues, please reach out using the contact details above.
