This guide walks you through claiming a Fluss+ Intercom — the QR code board that visitors scan at your entrance to call you. Claiming registers the intercom to your account so it can ring the Fluss+ app on your phone when a visitor calls. For more about what the Fluss Intercom does, see What is the Fluss Intercom?.
Before you start, please ensure the following:
The QR board must be in place and accessible so it can be scanned or read.
The intercom number is printed on the front of the board, just under the QR code, in the form www.fluss.me/<number>. The number you enter into the app is the part after the slash. You can either scan the QR code (which fills in the number for you) or type the number in by hand.
Only applies if a Fluss installer set the device up for you. Leave blank if you set the device up yourself.
Open the Fluss+ app. From the home screen, tap Devices in the bottom navigation.
On the Devices page, tap the three-dots (⋯) menu button in the top right to open the options sheet.
In the Options sheet, tap Add Device.
The Add Device sheet shows two device types. Tap Intercom to start the intercom claim flow.
On the claim screen, enter the intercom number in the first field, or tap the QR scan icon and point your phone's camera at the QR board to fill it in automatically.
Note: The intercom number is printed on the front of the board, just under the QR code, in the form www.fluss.me/<number>. Enter only the digits after the slash.Enter a descriptive intercom name so you can recognise the device later, for example "Main Entrance" or "Block A Gate".
If a Fluss installer gave you an installer code, type it in the last field. If you set the device up yourself, leave this blank.
Tap the blue Claim button in the top right to register the intercom to your account. The button stays disabled until the intercom number and name are filled in.
The claim takes a few seconds while the intercom is registered to your account. When it succeeds, an Intercom claimed notification appears and the screen shows a green tick with the message "You can rename this intercom from the device page."
Once you have successfully claimed the Fluss+ Intercom, the app guides you through two additional setup steps:
The Select a Plan sheet opens so you can pick the right intercom plan. For details, see our Fluss+ subscription plans guide.
Once a plan is selected, you're taken to the intercom's Users page so you can add the units that visitors will be able to call, and invite the residents who receive those calls.
"Invalid QR code" — the QR code doesn't match the expected Fluss+ intercom format. Check that you're scanning the QR board on the intercom itself (not a different sticker) and that the camera has a clear view of the whole code.
The Claim button is disabled — the intercom number and intercom name fields must both have a value before the button becomes active. The installer code is optional.
