The one-time access settings control how codes generated on your Fluss+
Intercom behave — which Fluss+ device they open, how many can be active
at once, and how long each code stays valid. This guide walks through
each setting and how to change it.
Before you begin
- You must be the owner of the Fluss+ Intercom. Shared users can
create and revoke codes but can't change the settings.
- You need at least one Fluss+ gate device on your account to use
as the entry (and optionally exit) device. The intercom itself does
not open a gate — it reads the guest's code and tells the paired
Fluss+ device to trigger.
- Settings changes apply to new codes only. Codes that are already
active keep the duration and limits they were created with.
Steps to change the one-time access settings
1. Open Devices from the home screen
Open the Fluss+ app. From the home screen, tap Devices in the
bottom navigation to see all the devices on your account.

2. Select your Fluss+ Intercom
Tap the Fluss+ Intercom whose settings you want to change. This opens
the Device Details page.

3. Tap One Time Access Settings
On the Device Details page, tap One Time Access Settings. The
settings page opens with four rows.

4. Review the four settings
The settings page has two groups:
- Entry Device — which Fluss+ gate opens when a guest enters the
code.
- Exit Device — which Fluss+ gate opens when the guest leaves. Set
to Same as entry if you only have one gate.
- Max Users — how many one-time codes can be active at the same
time (default 10).
- Invite Duration — how long each new code stays valid before it
expires automatically (default 12 hours).

5. Choose the entry device
Tap Entry Device to open the picker. Select the Fluss+ gate that
should open when a guest enters a one-time code.

The exit device works the same way — tap Exit Device to pick a
different gate for leaving, or leave it on Same as entry if one
gate is used for both.
6. Set the maximum number of active codes
Tap Max Users and choose how many codes can be active at the same
time. Options are 1, 2, 5, 10, 25, or 50.

Tip: Lower limits are safer — if you only expect one or two
guests per day, setting Max Users to 2 prevents you from accidentally
creating too many active codes.
7. Set how long each code is valid
Tap Invite Duration and choose how long a newly-generated code
stays valid. Options range from 1 hour to 24 hours.

8. Save your changes
Tap Save in the top right. A confirmation appears and the app
returns to the device details page.

Important: If you leave the page without saving, a prompt asks
whether to save your changes. Tap Save to keep them, or
Cancel to discard.
After saving
- New codes created from this point use the new Max Users limit and
Invite Duration.
- Codes that were already active keep their original duration and are
unaffected by the change.
- The Entry and Exit device changes apply immediately — any active
code will now trigger the newly-selected gates.
